CONCERN TITAN-2 is carrying out construction and installation work for facilities of the nuclear island and the turbine island of Power Units 5 and 6 of Paks II NPP, which is under construction in Hungary.

The project is being implemented under a Russia-Hungary intergovernmental agreement. The contract for the construction of Power Unit 5 and Power Unit 6 of Paks II with Russian VVER-1200 reactors was signed in December 2014.

The new power units will become part of Hungary's Paks Nuclear Power Plant, which was built with VVER-440 reactors using Soviet technology. Today, the plant accounts for 49.6% of power generation and for over a third of power consumption in Hungary.
