The whole work scope - delivery, lifting to the reactor compartment and installation of this major reactor unit equipment - was performed by JSC MSU-90 specialists (Titan-2 Holding).

Main circulation pumps electric motors are located at +14.000 elevation of the reactor building. The equipment was tested in a few stages. Vibration levels were measured, and automation system was checked during the tests. Electric motors idling lasted six hours.

As noted by LNPP-2 Chief Engineer, Alexander Belyaev, electric motors are duly assembled, fully operational and work steadily. No noise, vibration, defects or faults were noted during idling. All the measurable and controlled parameters are confirmed to be within working values.

All the four electric motors having passed the running tests (as of now, three of them are tested), JSC MSU-90 specialists will connect them to the circulation pumps. The pumps will further undergo load tests.
