The complex 190-meter high crane disassembly took a month and a half.
Terex tower crane was installed in the middle of the cooling tower pool. Its boom was 60 meters long, reaching 20 meters outside the cooling tower perimeter. This was the hardest part of the dismantling.
SMU-2 specialists installed tools and devices to take the counterweights off the counter-jib. The boom itself was dismantled section by section. All the installed devices having passed preliminary technological testing, the decision on further crane components dismantling was made.
