The crane was used to perform all the major installation activities during LNPP-2 first and second unit construction. Installation of the reactor building dome, reactor pressure vessel, all the internals, steam generators, emergency core cooling system vessels and other nuclear island equipment among them.
Experienced installers are taking part in the crane dismantling. Additionally, GROOVE truck crane is used to move large and heavy components. The activity was commenced with laying the boom onto the ground.
The crane components are moved to the Mechanisation Department territory, where Liebherr LR 11 350 is temporary stored. The specialists will inspect the crane, repair and prepare the hoisting mechanism for further operation. It is planned to be used at the other facilities under construction.
