The crane will be used to deliver fuel and equipment to the reactor building. Its weight is 140 tonnes, and the lifting capacity is 360 tonnes.
JSC Concern Titan-2 SMU-2 hoisting structures installation area specialists are splicing the main hoist rope.
The works are underway in the crane machinery space at the +43.000 elevation. The installation specialists use fall arrestors to ensure safety of works.
Then, upon commissioning, static and dynamic tests, the hoisting unit will be ready for start-up.
