JSC MSU-90 (TITAN-2 Holding) team is operating the equipment. The first electric motor out of four has been moved to the reactor building.
The electric motor weighs 46 tonnes. The equipment was pre-assembled at the construction base. Each electric motor passed high-voltage tests. Electric motors are delivered to the construction site by road. Liebherr LR 11350 crawler crane then moves the load to the reactor compartment through the equipment lock trestle. Polar crane lowers the electric motors to the design location (+14,000 elevation).
The electric motors of the main circulation pumps are designed to create coolant circulation in the primary circuit and heat removal from the reactor core. Three more equipment items will be soon delivered to the reactor building.
