Heavy refueling machine components will be installed with the polar crane. The rails for refueling machine movements are also being installed.
Refueling machine is a mechanism intended for loading nuclear fuel into the reactor and replacement of the spent nuclear fuel. It is located at the +26.000 elevation over the spent fuel pool and reactor cavity.
Refueling machine consists of mechanical part and control systems ensuring supervision and remote visual monitoring of the reloading process and loading of nuclear fuel into the reactor.
