The weight of each unit is 90 t, the length is about 11 m.
Equipment transportation from Kaliningrad Region to Sosnovy Bor was arranged by JSC RZD Logistics. The cargo was transported by rail and by water. Diesel generators were delivered to the unloading point through Neman - Novy Kaliningrad railroad station, Ust-Luga port, Kalishche station and LNPP-2 access ramps.
Currently, the standby diesel power plant building with diesel generators to be installed is under construction. JSC Concern Titan-2 SMU-2 employees are engaged at the facility. They reinforce and concrete walls and building floors.
Two more diesel generator units are to be delivered to Sosnovy Bor by the end of the year.
