JSC Concern Titan-2 SMU-2 specialists are reinforcing and concreting the outer containment.
The works are executed 24/7. 30 to 60 people are working on the dome each shift.
Outer containment permanent formworks are installed on the dome. 23 formwork pieces have been already assembled. Those are metal plates weighing approximately 1300 kg. They are moved to the dome of the reactor building with tower cranes.
It is planned to complete all the dome works for the second power unit of the LNPP under construction by the end of next year.
