In several years, Hanhikivi-1 nuclear power plant will be constructed on the territory of these municipalities with participation of TITAN-2 Holding.

The guests have visited the surroundnings of the second power unit building, seen a powerful crane, Liebherr LR 11350 with the maximum lifting capacity of 1350 tons, which is used on site for all major installation operations, looked over the evaporative cooling tower. Besides, the Finnish delegation has ascended to the turbine hall.

Matti Soronen, the mayor of Pyhäjoki, where the Hanhikivi-1 NPP construction site is located, has marked out a high rate of construction works at the second power unit. He had already visited Sosnovy Bor and the first LNPP-2 power unit. Today, it has been already put to full capacity and is now awaiting industrial commissioning.
