Site preparation and foundation construction is now completed, installation and assembly of modular buildings started, marking the first phase of the works. It will later be followed by interior outfitting according to Finnish standards. The first 4 buildings will be commissioned in summer 2017.
The construction camp will house 21 double-storey modular buildings (48 dorms in each), a parking lot for 800 cars and a sauna building. The total floor space to be constructed – 17 000sqm. The construction camp will serve as temporary housing for 1008 workers at the Hanhikivi-1 NPP site.
Installation and assembly works of the construction camp have started at the Hanhikivi-1 NPP site, Finland. Works are performed by a Finnish company Rakennuskartio Oy, Lehto Group.
