The general contractor of the construction is JSC CONCERN TITAN-2. The work was launched by the Governor of the region Andrei Chibis together with Igor Koshin, Director of the Kola NPP-2 construction program of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, and representatives of the management of the nuclear power plant.

Soon TITAN-2 specialists will begin survey work, designing, building a construction base and restoring the access road.

These activities will be the foundation for the start of the main construction phase, which will begin after the design is completed, the state assessment passes and a construction license from Rostekhnadzor is obtained.

Two innovative power units with VVER-S reactors are scheduled for commissioning in 2035 and 2037.

The competencies of TITAN-2 are also in demand in construction of large industrial, research, social and infrastructural facilities.
