Alexander Shutikov, General Director of Rosenergoatom JSC, visited the Leningrad NPP-2 construction site, where JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 is the general contractor.
As part of the working visit, Alexander Shutikov held a meeting with the management of TITAN-2 Holding and the Leningrad NPP, and also personally inspected the facilities under construction, including the reactor cavity of power unit 3.
Dmitry Tveritinov, Executive Director of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, Evgenii Iatcenko, General Director of PJSC “NBD”, and Konstantin Khudyakov, Director for Nuclear Facilities of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, presented the results and pace of construction to the General Director of Rosenergoatom JSC.
Currently, construction and installation works are underway at 55 facilities of power units 3 and 4. They involve more than 1,400 people and 190 units of special-purpose equipment. Construction is proceeding in accordance with the schedule, and in a number of areas — ahead of schedule. TITAN-2 specialists are already preparing for installation of the core catcher body in the reactor cavity of power unit 4.

“Last year, all key tasks at the Leningrad NPP-2 site were completed ahead of schedule. The results of the first half of 2026 demonstrate the same positive trend. We are confident that the next most important stages of construction of replacement capacities, installation of elements of the core catcher and arrangement of the inner containment of the reactor building of power unit 4 will also go ahead of schedule. The coordinated teamwork of all participants of the construction effort will help us achieve the goals of commissioning the replacement capacities of the Leningrad NPP in 2030 and 2032.”
