Construction of the Core Shared Research Facility Siberian ring source of photons (SKIF) is finished in the researcher town of Koltsovo in the Novosibirsk region.
All construction works at the unique scientific facility was carried out by specialists of TITAN-2 Holding.
The CSRF SKIF is a synchrotron radiation source of generation 4+, which has no equivalents in Russia. The commissioning of the facility has strategic importance for the progress of the Russian fundamental and applied science, opens up opportunities for world-level research and resolving urgent problems of high-tech enterprises and industry.

Timely replacement of imported items and parallel development of the detailed design documentation made it possible to ensure the uninterrupted progress of work and launch the first experiments even before the completion of the main stage of construction. The main result of this enormous work was the receipt of permit for the facility commissioning, which opens up new horizons for scientific discoveries for researchers.”
