TITAN-2 Holding acts as the general contractor of the construction effort.
Together with the representatives of the customer – the Kola NPP – a working meeting and a walk-around of the construction site of the power units took place. During the meeting, important issues of the preparatory stage were discussed: field surveys, design of infrastructure and access roads, as well as logistics of the future construction.

Grigory Naginskiy, General Director, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2:
“The Kola NPP-2 will be the first NPP to be equipped with innovative medium-power VVER-S reactors. Implementation of the project in the Arctic region requires high level of organization and expertise. I am convinced that joint work will ensure a high standard of construction and timely commissioning of facilities.”
Commissioning of power unit 1 of the Kola NPP-2 is planned for 2035, power unit 2 – for 2037. The project is a part of the strategic plan “Living in the North”: it will provide the region with electricity for decades to come, create new jobs and become the foundation for new industrial initiatives.
