The Governor of the Novosibirsk region, representatives of the customer and the managers of the main contractors also took part in the walk-around of the construction site: Grigory Naginskiy, General Director of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2; Evgenii Iatcenko, General Director of PJSC “NBD”; and Dmitry Volgin, Director of the NBD Branch of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2.

The visitors assessed the current status of construction, installation and commissioning works, as well as the progress of installation of research equipment at the experimental stations of the facility.

Specialists of TITAN-2 Holding are building the 4+ generation synchrotron in the researcher town of Koltsovo in the Novosibirsk Region, on an area of 30 hectares. As of today, the construction readiness of the facility is 99.7%.
The commissioning of SKIF has strategic importance for the progress of science in Russia, conducting world-class research and resolving applied problems of high-tech and industrial enterprises.

By 2035, it is planned to build 30 experimental stations at the center, which will provide research in a wide range of R&D areas.
