Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics named after N.N. Priorov of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is not only the leading federal center for providing aid to patients with traumatological and orthopedic issues, but also the largest scientific and methodological institution in this field nationwide.
JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, acting as the general contractor, has started the main construction and erection efforts for the construction of a new six-storey children’s building. The facility will be an important supplement to the existing infrastructure of the center and will be connected to the main building by indoors pedestrian walkways.
Construction started in the late summer of 2025 immediately after obtaining a construction permit. At the stage of preparation of the territory, cutting down plants and demolition of old buildings located in the development are were fully completed.
Currently, installation of a cast-in-place frame of the building (underground and first storeys) is underway at the site, as well as the reconstruction of utility sewage networks, which is planned to be completed by the end of this month.
The main contractor is SMU-77 LLC. The contract covers the full range of works, including civil construction, finishing, and installation of equipment and utility systems.
Currently, 71 people are working at the site. This summer, it is planned to increase the workforce to 80 people. The key task for the near future remains the completion of the cast-in-place frame. Work on the building’s heating networks will begin in July of this year. The scheduled full completion of the facility is for 2028.

“Under the contract, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 performs a full range of works — from construction of load-bearing structures to finishing and installation of utility systems. The Company will also ensure the supply and installation of high-tech medical equipment: a computed tomography scanner and an MRI machine. The only exceptions are interior items and furniture, which the customer – Priorov’s Medical Center will procure on its own.”
