This is the first project in the line of modern medium-power national-design nuclear power units (VVER-600).
TITAN-2 Holding will perform a full range of construction and installation works, applying the experience gained in implementing complex nuclear projects in Russia and abroad.
The first two units of Kola NPP-2 with a power of 600 MW each are scheduled to be constructed from 2027 to 2037. The service life of the main equipment will be 80 years. In the future, the site involves the expansion by two more similar power units.

The new NPP will strengthen the energy security of the North-West, where industry and port infrastructure are actively developing, and will become a driver of the social and economic development of the Arctic area.
