The delegation visited the construction site of Power Units 3 and No. 4, being built by JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 as the general contractor. During the visit, a tour of key facilities and a discussion of urgent issues of the project implementation were held.

Participants of the working meeting inspected the assembly area of the inner containment (IC) second tier in the reactor building of Power Unit 3. The program of the visit included a tour to the observation platform near the turbine building, as well as witnessing the progress of construction of the outer containment (OC) and auxiliary buildings of the nuclear island for Power Unit 3.

“Work has been started at all key facilities of the nuclear and turbine islands at the construction site of Leningrad NPP-2 Power Unit 3. Currently, the second tier of the inner containment is being assembled on the test stand near the reactor building, works are underway at the lower elevations and in the pit, as well as auxiliary buildings are being erected. All operations are carried out in strict compliance with the design documentation, safety requirements, as well as the approved project time schedule.”

As a result of the tour, a working meeting was held, where the key production tasks and further stages of the project were discussed. JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 continues providing a steady pace of construction and a high level of quality control at one of Russia’s largest nuclear facilities.
