The customer was the Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center of Surgery named after A. Vishnevsky of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. Today, the facility is fully completed, the statement of conformity and the commissioning permit have been obtained.

The official opening of the center took place on 06 November 2024 and was attended by Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairperson of the Government of the Russian Federation and Mikhail Murashko, the Minister of Health of Russia. They toured the new building, visited several departments of the center and got acquainted with the developments of the staff.

On 08 November, the first surgery was performed, which lasted 5 hours. The surgery was completed successfully, and the doctors did not identify any complaints about the operation of the equipment and utility systems.

Mikhail Mishustin, the Chairperson of the Government of the Russian Federation, noted:
“Tasked by the President of the Russian Federation, we supported the construction of this center. It was completed ahead of schedule. Today we met the colleagues, the builders who were involved in it, and told them that we are impressed by their work, as it seemed almost impossible to deliver such a complex high-tech center a few months ahead of schedule, complying with all regulations. It turns out that everything is possible. And more than 90% of the equipment of this center is made in Russia, it is home-produced”.

In addition to the construction of the new center of medical technologies, the company simultaneously carried out works on renovation of the facade and overhaul of the surgery suites in the main building, commissioned the laboratory complex, and reconstructed building No. 7 which required restoration of historical facades.

The Center for High Medical Technologies (CHMT) is an ultramodern complex for 80 hospital beds, which includes all medical infrastructure and meets all international standards. The area of the new building is 18.7 thousand square meters. The ten-storied building houses departments of surgical treatment, imaging and interventional endovascular surgery, cardiac surgery, radionuclide diagnostics, radiation therapy departments, intensive care unit, surgery suite and other departments.

The new building is equipped with advanced home-produced equipment, including CyberKnife, magnetic resonance and computer tomographs, X-ray complexes, angiography units, C-arm X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, endoscopy and laboratory equipment.

Ruslan Rusakov, Project Manager for Construction of the National Medical Research Center of Surgery named after A. Vishnevsky Facilities in JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, said:

“The role of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 on the project can be divided into two key stages: design and construction. At the design stage, all the requirements of the terms of reference were met, including surveys, design, and selection of medical equipment. It was important not only to select advanced medical equipment, but also to take into account all the subtle aspects associated with the supply of utilities.

Construction works were highly labor-intensive, especially during the construction of reinforced concrete structures of the bunker for the CyberKnife system, installation of medical equipment and its pre-commissioning. Bringing in MRT, CT and angiography equipment required creation of process openings in the building facades. Given the high technology of the center, there were special requirements for utility systems, laying of medical gas supply for surgeries, specific adjustment, etc.

We managed to complete the project earlier thanks to the well-coordinated work of all participants, starting from the customer Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center of Surgery named after A. Vishnevsky and ending with the subcontractor LLC SMU-77. Meaningful cooperation with the Customer was organized at all stages of construction, which allowed us to promptly resolve any issues that arose, including the necessary engineering and technical solutions”.
