Concreting of the 98th tier was completed today. The height of the structure reached 154 meters. Concreting of the shell is scheduled to be completed in August, after which builders will immediately begin painting the cooling tower.
On the turbine building of the second power unit, specialists from JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 have completed the installation of a wall fence made of sandwich panels and are beginning the construction of the upper foundation slab of the turbine unit. The key event of this year is the completion of concreting of the upper foundation slab of the turbine unit in the turbine room of the second power unit, scheduled for November.
The company’s specialists continue the construction of an educational and training center in Kurchatov. Today they make a pile foundation from bored piles. Next month they plan to begin laying the foundations of the building.
