The centre is designed for 220 student employees of the new power units of the Kursk NPP-2.
The training centre represents a city center located building with an area of 2760 sq. m. and variable number of levels from three to five. A complex of engineering and technical means to support the training process for preparing the nuclear power plant personnel and maintaining their qualification will be placed there.
The main tasks of the training centre are the occupational education of the NPP personnel and development of the managerial competences in accordance with the plant subdivisions’ demands.
JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 acts as a general contractor for the construction of the training centre on a turn-key basis, including the supply and installation of the equipment, such as training simulators.
As of now, the construction workers have already started the excavation of the pit. Completion of the training centre construction is planned for the end of 2024.
