A bridge crane of the turbine building has been set up at the Akkuyu NPP power unit No. 1

The crane has three load-lifting mechanisms, these are main hoist, auxiliary hoist, and electrically driven hoist with lifting capacity of 350, 40, and 6.3 tons respectively.

The crane length is 57 metres; height is 6 metres; the hoisting height is 43 metres. The crane total weight is 385 tons.

The attachable mechanical and electrical equipment of the crane is being mounted at present. Afterwards, the associated equipment will be connected in a step-wise manner and according to the plant documentation. The specialists will spend a little bit more than a month to complete all works, including crane pre-commissioning and handing over for operation.

Crane service life will comprise at least 70 years.
