JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 completed the construction of the new kindergarten in Sosnovy Bor in 2022

At present the so called non-mountable equipment, namely furniture, dishware, sports equipment, etc. is being supplied to the facility. The kindergarten assembly hall is already furnished with a new piano for musical classes, wall bars are installed in the sports hall, other sports requisites necessary for physical education classes are being prepared for unpacking.

Pictures of fairy-tale characters decorate walls of the passages and rooms of the kindergarten. The installation of the playgrounds with coloured play equipment is completed in the surrounding area. The building facades are also distinguished by an original colour scheme.

Kindergarten pre-opening was appreciated by Mikhail Voronkov, the Head of Sosnovy Bor urban district. Last week he inspected the building of the new kindergarten together with Aleksandr Lazarenko, the Head of Capital Projects Division of Housing and Utility Sector Management Committee of Sosnovy Bor urban district administration.

“Such facilities have not been constructed in our city for more than thirty years. And, speaking specifically about microraion No. 7, there has been no kindergarten here at all. That is why, when we were discussing in 2019 the construction prospects for Sosnovy Bor with Aleksandr Drozdenko, the Governor of Leningrad Oblast, we concurred in the opinion that the kindergarten is a facility of utmost importance and priority for our city. Today I would like to express profound gratitude to the Governor, the government, the Construction Committee of Leningrad Oblast, and our respected contractor – JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 that completed the works at this facility and did it with loving care. At a certain point we were ahead of the schedule for putting the kindergarten into operation. And, generally, we have retained this edge up to the receipt of the operational acceptance certificate,” noted Mikhail Voronkov.

The Head of administration also stressed that the opened new kindergarten will cover the city demands for providing accommodations in kindergartens for children from 0 to 2 years. Upon entering the information about a new pre-school facility into the electronic system “Modern Education of Leningrad Oblast”, parents will be able to apply documents for admission or transfer of their children to the new kindergarten.

Recruitment of the facility personnel is in progress. 65 employees will work in the new kindergarten. The kindergarten will open its doors for first educatees next year.

It should be noted that the kindergarten construction was financed under the regional program “Modern Education of Leningrad Oblast”. The funds received are a part of the effective cooperation agreement between State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom and the regions hosting power plants under which the city receives funds for infrastructure renovation from the Oblast budget.
