Pit excavation is being currently performed by construction personnel and will be followed by construction of the building’s foundation slab. Besides, the JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 specialists shall install a piping system with pipes to be laid throughout the territory of two new power units.

The capacity of water-storage tanks of the piping station will comprise 1400 cubic metres. The length of the fire fighting water main exceeds three kilometres, the length of access off-site motor roads is two and a half kilometres. The pumping station output will comprise 850 cubic metres per hour.

“The integrated fire fighting pumping station is a facility of an overriding priority since it will ensure implementation of fire protection/prevention measures during the construction of all facilities of LNPP-2 power units Nos. 3 and 4,” noted Konstantin Khudyakov, LNPP Facilities Program Director of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2.
