The truss unit was priorly assembled at the pre-assembly site; corrugated sheet cover was also installed there. The unit assembly took about 30 days. Further, the truss unit was installed into design position using heavy crawler crane Liebherr LR 11350 with a load capacity of 1000 t.
“The complexity of such operation is due to the need for precise and accurate assembly of the truss unit on the ground in order to ensure 100% coincidence with mounting holed during installation. The successful result was attained due to precise calculation of all the installation operations with accurate adjustment of the crane placement location and angle of boom as well as due to well-coordinated work of the installation team,” noted Danila Raschenko, Chief Engineer of Standalone Subdivision of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 in Kursk Oblast.
