Fifteen inner containment (IC) elements for Tier 7 of the reactor building of Power Unit No. 1, four IC elements for Tier 3 of the reactor building of Power Unit No. 3 and four process tanks for Power Unit No. 2 were sent to the Akkuyu NPP construction site in mid-June.

Steel structures will be delivered by sea via Bronka port in Saint Petersburg. The cargo will arrive at the Akkuyu NPP construction site in early July. TPL, a subsidiary of TITAN-2 Holding, manufactures metalwork for all four power units of Akkuyu NPP in Turkey. All metalwork undergoes multi-stage quality control by both Russian and Turkish specialists.
