General director of TITAN-2 holding assessed the PDEC PRORYV construction progress

Head of the Holding participated in the meeting for Proryv project implementation. Among the meeting participants were representatives of the Rosatom State Corporation, the administration of the Tomsk Region and the Siberian Chemical Combine, on the basis of which the complex is constructed.

“Proryv project may be compared with commissioning of the perpetual motion machine,” says Grigory Naginskiy. “Operation of this machine is a huge step forward. Appearance of such facility as the Proryv project will improve the development of electric power industry in general. It may be compared with a space flight or opening of new galaxies”.

Today works as follows are underway at the construction site of the Siberian Chemical Combine: outline walls are terminated in the reactor building already, installation and binding of equipment is continued in the fuel fabrication and refabrication module, electrical installation works are in progress. Construction of the integrated pump station of the fire fighting water supply and automatic fire fighting is in progress. Foundation slab grouting has been completed, reinforcement of the tank walls is in progress, as well as construction of the cooling tower and the lead and disinfectant solutions preparation building.

“We achieved the ground elevation for the Reactor Building construction, manufactured ventilation and all detailed design documentation for the ventilation systems. The main task for this year is to reach El. +27 metres during construction of the engine room,” noted Grigory Naginskiy.

One of the main tasks at the construction site is the construction of the acceptance testing stand of the reactor coolant pump set for the fast neutron lead cooled reactor plant BREST-OD-300 (БРЕСТ-ОД-300). Thus far, the metal frame has already been mounted, and preparation for installation of wall panels begins. The full-scale stand simulates the operating conditions of the reactor coolant pump set.

Grigory Naginskiy emphasized that TITAN-2 Holding does not face any difficulties during stand construction, and all this due to the experience in construction of high-tech and complex engineering facilities. Soon sandwich panels will be delivered to the construction site, after which the stand will be transferred for the process equipment installation.
