Specialists of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 continue working at the site of “Proryv” project in the city of Seversk of the Tomsk Region

For this purpose, the pilot and demonstration energy complex (PDEC) "Proryv" with fast neutron reactor with lead coolant BREST-OD-300 is being built on the premises of the Siberian Chemical Combine. The complex shall demonstrate the steady operation of all the facilities that provide the closure of the fuel cycle. JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 acts as the General Contractor for construction of the PDEC.

The nuclear fuel fabrication/refabrication unit is the first facility of the pilot and demonstration energy complex “Proryv”. By the end of 2021, all the main process equipment was installed in the design position here, and the preparations for pre-commissioning started.

The integrated test run of the equipment of the fabrication /refabrication unit is planned to start in August 2022. The production lines testing is expected to take nine months. The unit is planned to be put into pilot industrial operation in the first half of 2024.
