This was the 6th Professional Skills Industry Championship of ROSATOM based on the WorldSkills. The participants competed in 37 professional competences. In total, over a thousand participants and experts from more than thirty Russian regions took part in the championship.

The Titan team competed in the Concrete Construction Works competence and took second place. This was the first time the competence was introduced as part of the AtomSkills championship line-up.

The competition assignment consisted of three modules. The participants were given three days to complete all the tasks. They were required to create a T-beam reinforcement cage, make a small-size architectural formwork (i.e., perform assembly of the formwork system, acceptance and placement of concrete mix, dismantling of the formwork and presentation of the concrete structure to the experts), as well as to carry out the assembly of large-size wall formwork according to the installation drawings.

Ilya Ershov, chief expert in the Concrete Construction Works competence, praised the high level of task completion by the participants, who were able to demonstrate their professional skills. According to Mr. Ershov: “For us, the competition is a great opportunity to form a professional community in the AtomSkills championship format. It is our hope and belief that next year there will be new participants, and that existing experts will adapt the competition tasks and technical documentation to the specifics of the work in the industry during the year. We will continue to grow, develop and keep our friendship. I am sure that the competence will also grow and will become a part of AtomSkills line-up in the future”.

The winners and runners-up of the championship were awarded by: Alexey Likhachev, Director General of ROSATOM; Tatiana Terentyeva, Deputy Director General of ROSATOM for Human Resources; Vladimir Verkhovtsev, Director General of JSC Atomredmetzoloto; Andrey Petrov, Director General of JSC Concern Rosenergoatom; Pavel Zaitsev, Director General of JSC Science and Innovations; Evgeny Abakumov, Information Technology Director of ROSATOM.
