Currently, the levelling concrete for the reactor building foundation slab at the facility is close to its completion. Installation of the strata drainage of the turbine building is also being completed. Apart from that, specialists install the pile foundation of the cooling tower and temporary networks for power supply, water supply, fire-fighting systems, and sewage.
A special site is prepared for subsequent pre-assembly of equipment. Motor roads at the NPP site and the construction site have already been built. Electrical installation works and construction of physical protection centre and administration and amenity building are performed at the Fuel Fabrication Module.
More than 150 people from the standalone subdivision of the company and more than 100 people from contracting organisations work in Seversk. Various construction machinery of TITAN-2 Holding is engaged at the site, e.g. dump trucks, truck cranes, and means of passenger transport. The two tower cranes that were used in the construction of the new power units of the Leningrad NPP shall be delivered to and installed at the site at the end of December.
The main goal of employees of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 at this stage is preparation for grouting of first concrete of the foundation slab of the reactor building.
