Apart from that, a Manitowoc 18000 crane owned by the TITAN-2 holding was delivered to the site for construction of the new power units of the Kursk NPP. Its maximum load capacity is 750 tonnes. Previously it was used in Moscow for construction of transport infrastructure. It was delivered to Kurchatov by road vehicles.

This crane will be used to install the pre-assembled roof trusses on the turbine building of the first Power Unit 1. Weight of one such assembly varies from 150 to 180 tonnes. After installation of roof trusses, the crane will be used for installation of the frame metalwork of the turbine building at the Power Unit 2.
