During the pandemic, the shift was organized considering all necessary safety measures and decrees of the Kaliningrad region government. JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 provided the young people with everything they needed for the works: special clothes, tools, transfer, dormitories and meals. The average salary of a student employed at the facility was 35 thousand roubles.
The tasks set to the students included reinforcement, concreting, waterproofing application, manufacture of reinforcement parts, facades heat insulation, cleaning and treatment of wood structures with fire-protective and antiseptic solutions.
“We prioritize compliance with all sanitary standards and occupational safety requirements, high quality of the performed works,” students construction foreman Aleksandr Sveshnikov noted. We report weekly on the completed work and address issues of concern. JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 has been working with student construction brigades for more than ten years. A winter shift is organized for the second year in a row. It is planned to involve students in operations in the Tomsk region for a reactor unit construction for the experimental demonstration complex “Proryv” in Seversk and at other facilities of the company in the near future.
