The company will build the reactor unit building, turbine hall and infrastructural facilities.

The 300 MW power unit with an innovative fast-neutron reactor and lead actuator will become a key part of the experimental test power supply complex under construction at the Siberian chemical plant site within the “Proryv” (Breakthrough) industry project execution.

The contract price is 26.3 bln rubles. Vladimir Minaev, Director for Russian Nuclear Projects, signed the contract from the JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 side, while Siberian chemical plant was represented by Alexander Gusev, Deputy General Director of the enterprise, Head of the experimental test power plant construction under “Proryv” project.

“Fast-neutron reactor NPP construction is a unique project. We plan on executing the works with our own forces attracting limited number of subcontractors. Experimental demonstration complex “Proryv” will become the first evidence of the industrial possibility to execute the closed cycle concept”.

The facility is planned to be finalized by the end of 2026.
