These were national and local media, representatives of authority and community of Gulnar region, Mersin, at the Southern coast of Turkey, where Holding “Titan-2” constructs the Akkuyu NPP.
The visit was aimed at getting to know about the life of the city close to the NPP.
The guests had a meeting with the Municipality Head, Aleksey Ivanov, and the Head of Sosnovy Bor administration, Mikhail Voronkov. The Turkish representatives were interested in different aspects: specialists training for NPP, infrastructure and business development, environmental issues.
Then Turkish delegation had a tour around new operating LNPP-2 unit, recently completed by Holding “Titan-2”. It has been successfully producing energy for a year already. Turkish citizens had a chance to learn about plant operation from the first hand and to make sure that Russian technologies are safe.
