Another tower crane was installed on the standby diesel power plant building. One more tower crane is being dismantled in the coming days to transport it to the Kursk NPP construction site.  In total, two cranes from PJSC SUS will be transported there. To date, 10-12 units of Mechanization and Mechanical Transport Department construction equipment are on site, such as a dump truck, bulldozer, motorized crane etc. These equipment units are used for preparatory works.

The crane that is used now for the evaporative cooling tower construction on the 2nd power unit of LNPP-2 will be dismantled in late autumn when the cooling tower construction is completed. The crane is 180 m high. Once the maintenance outage completed, the crane is ready for usage at other construction facilities.

As for the crawler crane Libherr LR 11350, it remains in place at the reactor building: it will be used for the transport lock trestle installation.
