At present, specialists of the second unit of JSC "MSU-90" have installed four tanks on the foundation. These are two 400 cubic meter tanks with a height of 12 meters and two 300 cubic meter tanks with a height of 9.6 meters.
The tank facilities include twelve tanks of different volume and sizes. Large structures are assembled by means of a crawler caterpillar crane.
The tanks are manufactured at the production complex of JSC "MSU-90". In the mounting area the shell of the tank is rolled out, then backed off with the use of concrete blocks and attached to the slipway. Afterwards it is put on the foundation, stretched and the joints are welded. Then shell is then joined to the bottom of the tank.
After that a central strut inside the tank is mounted. It serves as a support for the tank cover. Interior installation is performed via a special hatch door.
At the final stage the metalwork of thermal insulation and tank cladding are installed.
