Connection tracks

In future, these tracks will be used for transportation of large-size equipment.

Most part of works has already been done. Installation of tracks at the turbine building of the second power unit has been recently finished. After installation of tracks, they were tested by means of a special trolley. Afterwards the specialists carried out geodetic works for alignment and additional tamping of track and tie lattice. Then the structure was reinforced with concrete.

These tracks will be soon used for transportation of large-size equipment – transformers weighing 320 tons.

Currently, specialists of the sector of construction and installation works no. 6 of JSC "UAT" are performing works on installation of pedestrian and pipeline tunnel of the free access zone and cable channel from the tunnel to the overpass of emergency cables.
