The central facility

Their task is to install and connect the equipment necessary for flowing of the decompressed reactor. A part of the premises has been already handed over in operation to the Customer – to the branch of “Concern Rosenergoatom”. Nowadays specialists of the company and JSC "SAM" are working together at this facility.

Most part of the equipment of the unit control room is already at regular places. Lifting of heavy structures to the level +23.000 was done by specialists of crew no.6 of JSC "SAM".

In the hall centre, there will be a screen for collective use, and in front of it – workplaces of employees of the operative shift of the unit: leading engineer of reactor control, leading engineer of turbine control, head of shift of the unit. Information on the current operating mode of the reactor and the turbine will be transferred here. In this premise, construction electricians will have to install some control cabinets and connect cables.

Construction electricians will soon finish connections of power cables and fiber-optical communication lines of transformer substation cabinets at level +15,000. All cabinets necessary for flowing have been installed.

Recently, it was the first time that power was supplied to the monitoring system of normal operation control management and the monitoring system of management of system of safety management located at the level + 8.000, +15,000. They are provided with UPS. It will enable the equipment which controls technological processes, to constantly remain in operation. In the near future, start-up and adjustment works will start here.
