The jubilee 10th division professional skills championship REASkills is over. This year it was held from 2 to 6 February in five cities of Russia: Balakovo, Novovoronezh, Udomlya, Yekaterinburg and Novouralsk.
This annual event is aimed at professional development, improvement of professional standards and exchange of experience among workers and engineers of the nuclear industry.
A record number of specialists took part in the qualifying stages – 1,635 people. 677 contestants entered the final round, 562 of which represented enterprises of Rosatom’s Electric Power Division.
TITAN-2 Holding was represented at the championship by a team of 26 people – 15 participants and 11 expert mentors who took part in 7 competencies: environmental protection, occupational health and safety, non-destructive testing, graphic design technologies, smart imaging, welding technologies, digital RPS-enterprise.
For TITAN-2, this is the fifth participation at REASkills, and every year the team wins awards. The Company relies not only on high results, but also on developing professional potential of its employees. Therefore, this year our team included many young specialists and beginners, for whom the championship was the first experience of participating in competitions of such level.
During the competition, participants had to cope with complex practical and theoretical tasks in their areas of competence. Experts assessed the quality and speed of their implementation, and the winners were determined by the number of points scored.
As a result of the competition, employees of TITAN-2 Holding won bronze medal in the competence of Non-destructive testing. Alexey Chugunov was a participant, Alexey Genkel acted as an expert.
The winners of REASkills-2026 will be part of the Rosenergoatom team and will represent it at the industry-wide championship of professional skills AtomSkills, which will be held in early April in Yekaterinburg.
