Training complex no.3

The president of “Souyzatomstroy” self-regulating organization, Victor Opekunov, and the director of the training centre, Natalia Chupeykina, arrived in Sosnovy Bor in order to discuss issues regarding opening of the branch. Together with the chairman of the Board of Directors of the holding, Grigoriy Naginskiy, specialists of affiliated companies and representatives of Leningrad nuclear power plant, they examined the place of creation of the future training complex and discussed the plan of works.

The new training complex will consist of two parts – an industrial practice building and a training base. They will be located in the area of “BENTAM” steel structures factory.

The training building with the area of more than two thousand square metres will house rooms for theoretical training, areas of welding, civil, electric assembly, rigging and slinging works, administrative and household premises. For this purpose, a part of “BENTAM” building will be reconstructed, and the training base for safe methods of works at height which will be built by the standard design of the training centre will be arranged nearby. Specialists of the holding will have to manufacture and install in the area steel structures required to develop skills of work at height.

It is planned that installation of the equipment of the training centre and fitting of premises will be completed in June. And starting from July 1st, educational process will start there.

Training on the basis of the "Northwest" branch of the training centre will be given to the personnel of contractor companies involved in construction of new power units of Leningrad nuclear power plant.
