Future NPP Control

They are working at several elevations simultaneously: at elevation +4.8 (emergency control room, or ECR), at elevation 0.000 in the rooms of the four 0.4 kV switchgear cabinets. There, the power equipment for overall I&C power supply and protection is located. Transformers and sections of the connection protection and automation switchgear cabinet (KRUZA P) have been installed; the equipment is being prepared for cabling. When all equipment is ready, floors will be poured.

In total, several kilometers of control and power cables have been laid in the control building. In addition, optic fiber is being routed, and servers and automated work stations (AWS) are being connected. As the installation and cabling are completed, the equipment is handed over for adjustment. Thus, the facility is being prepared for powering of the overall I&C systems involved in the flushing.
