During the visit, the Rosatom Head had a look at the construction of power units 7 and 8 and also noted the high professionalism and productivity of the general contractor represented by the TITAN-2 Holding.

"Almost a year ago, we poured the "first batch of concrete" into the foundation of the unit No. 7 reactor building. Now the foundations of all the nuclear island buildings are ready for the walls construction and equipment installation. The same operation will take place at the unit No. 8 very soon. The construction pace will only increase," said Alexey Likhachev, Head of Rosatom State Corporation.

Today, the construction of the new power units is proceeding rapidly. In total, about 600 people are involved in the facility construction, and recently student construction brigades have arrived at the site. They will take part in the future nuclear giant construction during the winter labor semester.

New power units are planned to be built in a record time of 65 months, like never before in Russia.
