System Flushing

MSU-90 specialists have started flushing the demineralized water supply system (KBC-2). During the flushing, chemically-demineralized water will be supplied through it to the borated water tank and the make-up and boron control system (KVA), then it will be flushed in the unsealed reactor through safety systems.

Thus, the demineralized water supply system (KBC-2) is a supplying one. It covers several key facilities of the nuclear island: the reactor building, the control, safety, auxiliary buildings, etc.

22 systems will be engaged in stage one of the flushing.
