Reactor Equipment

The refueling machine consists of a mechanical part (the bridge, car, operating floor), control and monitoring systems. They enable control and remote monitoring of the refueling process and nuclear fuel loading into the reactor.

The structure is located in the containment area at elevation +26.000. Thus far, the specialists have installed the refueling machine bridge in its place. Heavy parts of the machine are mounted with a polar crane. The total weight of the assembly exceeds 60 tons.

The works are being performed in the buildings of the reactor, turbine, electricity, water, heating system and other structures of power units.
