Relay panels building

All three facilities have already been connected by underground cable troughs. The electricians were tasked to install equipment in the building and prepare it for commissioning.

In just a month the specialists of JSC "SAM" assembled cable metal troughs at mark -3,600. They also started installing grounding and lighting systems. LED lights protected against dust and moisture shall be fitted in the premises (IESG). They shall be mounted using scaffolds, because the ceiling height is about 5 meters. Once the construction work are finished in the building, electricians will proceed with the installation of relay panels. The equipment is already stored in a warehouse.

A relay panel is a cabinet with a height of two meters and width of 60 cm. Each cabinet weighs approximately 200 kg. The cabinets will be mounted by lifting gear from mark 0,000 to mark +4,300. All in all the electricians need to install 200 relay panels.
