This year, the host party for the first time was the TITAN-2 Holding. The main goal of the meeting was to share the company's experience in the interaction of the customer, general contractor and contractors in matters of safety and labor protection during the construction of power units No. 7 and No. 8 at the site of the Leningrad NPP.
The event was attended by the heads and representatives of the labor protection departments of the central office of Concern Rosenergoatom, Leningrad NPP, Kursk NPP, Smolensk NPP, JSC SKhK, Beloyarsk NPP, JSC Atomstroyexport, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, PJSC SUS, JSC SEM.
The program of the seminar-internship consisted of several stages. One of them is the headquarters, where the participants made presentations and discussed the readiness of the sites for the active stage of construction, as well as for the implementation of measures aimed at preserving the lives and health of workers. They studied the positive practices of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 and exchanged best practices for further improvement of the occupational safety management system. During the visit, the commission members also made rounds of the construction site of the Leningrad NPP with practical observations of the work of contractors and the implementation of the procedures of the occupational safety management system. The guests visited the pit of the 7th and 8th power units and the combined fire-extinguishing pumping station. Following the tour, the commission confirmed the readiness of the inspection services of the Leningrad NPP and JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 to implement the procedures of the occupational safety management system during the construction of new power units at the site of the Leningrad NPP and made proposals for their improvement. Such internship seminars are the best practice for exchanging experience and knowledge between specialists in the field of labor protection. Based on the results of the internships, measures are developed and implemented to improve the labor protection management system, the organization of production safety processes is improved, effective labor protection practices are identified, which can then be disseminated and applied everywhere.
