It should be reminded that in 2021 the city pier was transferred to the ownership of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2. The purpose of the facility is to receive large cargo, primarily intended for the construction of new power units at LNPP-2, as well as a place for mooring yachts, boats and small vessels.
JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 conducted an inspection of the hydraulic structure for compliance with regulatory requirements, during which a number of violations in the safety and functionality of the facility were identified. Based on the results of the inspection, the company’s specialists carried out the necessary repair and technical work: they updated the coating, restored the carbon corners around the perimeter of the structure, installed railings, wheel guards and a fender that protects the hull of vessels from mechanical damage. The area was illuminated and pontoon structures intended for mooring various types of water transport were installed.
A yacht club has been arranged on the territory of the pier, for which an administrative building, locker rooms, a bathroom, a reception for receiving guests, and a warehouse for storing sports equipment have been built. In the summer, rental of jet skis and stand-up paddle boards will be open, and sporting events are also planned.
At the moment, the facility has been transferred to the management of PJSC SUS. The organization will monitor the proper technical condition of the pier, carry out safety measures and cultural and entertainment activities.
