JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 acts as one of the power units’ construction contractors.
The decision was made on March 29, 2023 at the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority of Egypt (ENRRA) board meeting in Cairo.
A complex inspection was carried out by the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority Commission from March 11 to March 17, 2023 in order to inspect the readiness for the construction process commencement. Following the results of numerous inspections, the commission has confirmed the safety of the construction of a new unit and the lack of hazards to the environment.
A decision was made in the course of the ENRRA board meeting chaired by the board chairman Sami Shaaban, to issue licenses for the construction of the El-Dabaa NPP third power unit.
