Fifteen of them are engaged in the works in Sosnovy Bor. Most students (130 persons) arrived to Seversk to the construction site of the “Proryv” (“Breakthrough”) Pilot Demonstration Energy Complex (PDEC) where the JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 Standalone Subdivision works.

The joint brigade “Atomgrad” from Volgodonsk commenced work in Sosnovy Bor. It comprises participants from three brigades: “Atom 235”, “Atomira” and “Uranium”. All of them represent the Volgodonsk Engineering Technical Institute of the National Research Nuclear University MEPHI.

The young people are working in the Production and Technical, Economic Planning, Design and Accounting Divisions.

“The work and accommodation conditions are excellent. There are almost no problems or difficulties, or they are solved quickly and efficiently. Sosnovy Bor is a very beautiful city, especially during the winter season. The city fully lives up to its name. There is a convenient infrastructure, all its components are located within walking distance”, noted Ivan Tselykovskikh, chief of the student construction project “Sosnovy Bor-2023”.

The winter interregional construction project “Atom for Peace - BREAKTHROUGH” in Seversk unites 13 brigades from 11 regions of the country. The young people arrived there from Pskov, Penza, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Sverdlovsk, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk Oblasts, Altai Krai, Republic of Tatarstan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and the Chechen Republic.

On the “Proryv” PDEC construction site, the student construction brigade members perform concreting, reinforcement, installation and auxiliary works.

“The student construction project in Seversk sees quite a lot of newcomers of the movement, but there are also experienced members. The project participants have underwent the employment process, received individual protection equipment and already started to perform the operational tasks”, said Vladimir Efremov, chief of the winter interregional student construction project ““Atom for Peace - BREAKTHROUGH” of 2023.
